5. UPC Upcoming Programing Events:
   • Oct 25: Luncheon at Red Horse Steak House in Frederick to present golf tournament checks and memorial donations in memory of Chip Chipley.
   • Dec 22: Holiday luncheon at Musket Ridge Golf Club with patriotic entertainment.

Outreach:

5. August 25 Annual Golf Tournament
   • $5,000 to MOAA Foundation
   • $5,000 No Person Left Behind
   • $5,000 American Vet Dog
5. President spoke at gathering of 2,000 Veterans and families for the homecoming of A-10 tail #087 at the Hagerstown Aviation Museum.

5. Leadership slate set for CY2025-2026 (Temporarily missing Secretary and 2 Dorectors)

UPC President’s Comments:

Moving along at a solid pace with members attending luncheons and new members. Our golf tournament was amazing, and we raised over $20,000 to cover costs and donate $5,000 to 3 separate Veteran organizations.

We are reviewing our bylaws to ensure the purpose and other areas are state and catchment area focused, not vague and things we do not do.

We are building a strategic plan to align our efforts and focus on partnerships to gain members and donors and build support for legislation.
